Our History

Sons & Daughters was founded in 2015 by Craig Eakright in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Craig has been a school teacher and worship leader for a combined 30+ years. Around the age of 50, Craig was driven to a place of desperation for God, healing, community and direction. He joined a worship school based in Atlanta, Georgia called “10,000 Fathers” and came back with fresh vision and hope.

Sons & Daughters was born not just to raise up a new generation of worship leaders but to do as the name implies - to walk beside a handful of individuals for a season, and to press into the identity we share as children of God - sons and daughters of a perfect Heavenly Father. If we know who we are, and whose we are, worship becomes the natural byproduct.

In recent years, Craig formed a friendship with fellow worship leader and native Michigander, Dwight Beal, and they decided it was time for the worship school to take new territory. In 2024, Sons & Daughters West Michigan was born, sharing all of the same DNA as Sons & Daughters Fort Wayne, while under the local leadership of Dwight Beal, worship pastor at Victory Point Church in Holland, and Skot Lokers, worship pastor at First Reformed Church of Grand Haven.
